To provide youth with the skills and environment that promotes positive youth development and leadership.
In 2002, New Destiny, LLC was conceptualized in California to find a solution to the educational and societal disparities underrepresented students face. In the early stages, extensive research was done to create effective programs that would alleviate student deficiencies. In 2003 the program expanded to Newnan, Georgia, where New Destiny provided youth development programs for the Coweta County School System and Juvenile Justice Department. In 2006, New Destiny expanded once again to the Baltimore-Washington Metro area providing supplemental education services and out of school time programming. In 2010, New Destiny was commissioned by Empowerment Support Initiative (ESI) to provide council to the government of Rivers State, Nigeria to implement a state-wide early-childhood public education system. Currently, New Destiny leads several steering committees that guide the direction of out school time programming and the professionalization of youth development programs in the state of Maryland.
Over the last 10 years New Destiny has been able to impact the lives of thousands of youth and their families nationally and internationally through its programs, seminars, trainings, and advocacy work in the youth development field.
